I think it is pretty much unbreakable as I've taken some pretty rough spills on rocks with it hanging from my pack and so far, it hasn't even cracked. Sometimes when i'm at home packing for the trip I think that its too bulky to pack in but in the AM when I'm on the trail next to the fire I never think that. <br />When I bought my backpacking version of a coffee press there was really only one option.
